Small shorezone repair
Some small shore repairs can skip a full permit.
Some small repairs at the water’s edge can move without a full Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) permit. That path is a Qualified Exempt declaration: a notice instead of a full application. Do not assume your repair qualifies.
Adding coverage, or visible mass, usually kills the exempt path. We will tell you whether the work stays small enough, or whether it has to go through a full application.
